Dear Devotees,
On the special occasion of Navaathri day, we thought it fit to bring you a special edition of rare-to-find Ashtothrams for your everyday Navarathri Pooja.
A brief note on this collection :
We found an old Grandham book in which approximately 52 Ashtothrams were found. We believe this was published atleast 100 years ago in Sri Lanka by Brahma Shri P. P. Panchakshara Gurukkal, Iyyanar Temple Road, of Yaazhpaanam (Jaffna). We shall bring out all Ashtothrams in a book separately for our Devotees' use, which includes rare Guruda, Chandeshvara, Linga, Ardhanareeshwarar, Shankaranarayanar, Shivakamasundari, Bhairava etc. Ashtothrams. This book was published/released by Trinconmalee, Aaryadravida Bhasha Book Stores in those days of yore.
In this collection - we are proud to present the following collection for immediate use for Navarathri. As you will re-call, we had already given you Ganapathy Ashtothram. All these Ashtothrams begin with DhyAna Sloka. Some of them are with 110 and some with 107 or 108. We have published as it is without diluting it. As these have been taken from Grandham - we are confident, this is an abridged version available to date. We have given this in SANSKRIT and depending upon demand, it will be given in Tamil or similar languages.
1) DEVI
2) DURGA
3) LAKSHMI
4) SARASWATHI
5) BALA
6) TRIPURASUNDARI
7) BHUVANESWARI
8) MANONMANI
9) RAJARAJESWARI
10) KALEE
11) MAHAMAREE
12) CHAMUNDESHWARI
Note: Lalitha will be added in a day or two
I would like to thank Junior Ramakrishnan for his dedicated collective contribution in ensuring its final shape.
WE HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY THIS POPULAR EDITION AND RECEIVED THE BLESSINGS OF GODDESS PARASAKTHI. Please let us know your views.
MAY GOD SHIVA BLESS YOU ALL.
