My dear Children
I am very happy tonight to write to you my 100th story of Lord Krishna, fulfilling my desire to finish the series before end of September 2013, so that the book in english containing these 100 stories for you ''YOU, I AND KRISHNA'' should be in your hands as DIWALI gift by November 2nd week maximum.
I consider myself quite fortunate to be able to write ''to my satisfaction atleast'' 100 stories each in Tamil & English for you. The tamil book 'VISWAROOPANIN VAMANA KATHAIGAL'' was released on 31.8.2013 at Chennai, as special commemoration book in connection with the JANMASHTAMI celebrations organised by our SREE KRISHNARPANAM SEVA SOCIETY.
If these stories were found interesting, informative and useful, it is because of His blessing in using me a tool. If I made any mistakes, errors in presentation and found wanting in my expression, no one but I, undertake to own all these defects and beg your pardon. J.K. SIVAN
100 '' ÝOU, I AND KRISHNA''
Even if I repeated any number of times, it is but true, that Krishna did not teach Bhagavath Gita, to his best devotee, Arjuna only; it was meant for all other numerous devotees like you and me also, it was not for Arjuna engaged in the war between Pandavas and Kauravas; it was for us as well, daily engaged in the war between good and bad, right and wrong, hatred and love, contentment and discontentment, greed and satisfaction, and ever so many things not possible to be listed. We are engaged day in and out in every day life.
Most of our problems would be solved if we are guided by the contents of Krishna's advices in Gita.
What did Krishna say so specially and specifically? Dont we know it already? Is His Gita so easy for us to understand?
Why not? For those who say it is difficult to follow the only answer is ''did you try sincerely to understand?''
''Krishna, I noticed what you said to Arjuna? It looked so simple to me and easy to follow:
“ You have always something to do, some duty to perform and carry out . Is n't it? You are going to and must do it, anyway. So why dont you engage yourself in doing it, performing it, fulfilling it, EVERY TIME, THINKING that you are DOING IT FOR ME, FOR MYSAKE ?
"I have given you a mind, a beautiful gift for you. If some one gives you an excellent gift and finds you not using it properly, how he will feel?. Why do you permit and allow your mind to go astray and bring disappointments, disagreements, difficulties and disgust to you. You can fill me easly because I have provided enough space in it for this purpose, and use it while performing the duties I listed above.. Do you know what will be the result? If you do anything on your own, you will expect a result to satisfy, you get disappointed and all other ''d''s I listed above. Suppose you do and perform for me, and for my sake, then it is I who should look for the result, not YOU. iS N'T IT? BECAUSE IT IS MY DUTY THEN NOT YOURS. So it becomes my responsibility to see that you are rewarded for your performance the way you deserve.
what do we do in our houses? When we cook for ourselves we dont care to cook nicely and dont cook too many dishes. If a guest or someone we like is to visit us and join us for food, we take extra care and prsent a very palatable and delicious meal and eatables. Is n't it? WILL YOU PLEASE TREAT ME YOUR GUEST AT LEAST, NOT FROM OUTSIDE, BUT WITHIN YOU!!
What the guest does? He does not come and visit us empty handed. He brings gifts for us which make us happy.
So I shall certainly reward you for your labour, your pain, your efforts, if they are sincerely directed to me. It becomes my job and my duty then to take care of you.
''you'' is not referred by me as your body, but something unknown to you, unseen by you, and rarely thought by you, THE SOUL IN YOU.
I AM THAT, THE ATHMA, THE JEEVAN. I am not the body which contains, because the container may change anyhnumber of times, and, appear, and disappear in any shape, size, form,and name, gender, but I am none of these. I can be felt easily and dont change and remain permanently with you. I am not somewhere away from you in the skies, or down below the earth, beyond reach etc., I am just YOU, within you, with you, and no need to look for me elsewhere. Because I have no form it does not mean that you cannot see me. You can certainly see me in any form and shape if you like to see me so. I am therefore, simply put in everything and every one. What do I need, any thing special?
No. with your pure love whatever you give it satisfies me, just a leaf, a spoon of water, any thing you wish to offer me is accepted by me happily if you offer it WHOLE HEARTEDLY.!! It is not WHAT YOU GIVE, IT IS HOW YOU GIVE, THAT MATTERS. I am waiting for you to invite me and feel me. Your sincere devotion and surrender is the only weapon, which I use to protect you!!
