Dear Sri Anand,

We have received a wonderful New Year Gift in the form of Amritavarshini 34th issue which we are sure would make the whole year very illuminating. Thank you for compiling all the articles and presenting it with your beautiful editorial. We feel that we are really blessed to be the member of Amritavarshini family.

I do not wish to single out any particular article as each one of the article was inspiring in its own way. The Amritavarshini has shown us the different path while emphasising the fact that devotion forms the core of all paths. One can adopt a particular path only if he is a devotee first. This devotional spirit is manifest in all the articles of Amritavarshini.

I compliment you for the good spiritual awakening that you are doing in this young age and I wish that God give you enough strength and knowledge to carry out your mission successfully in future.

With regards and wishing all members of Amritavarshini family a very happy and peaceful New Year.

Dear Vasudevan,

This issue right from cover is devoted to Lord Krishna and the contributors have excelled in bringing out the different facets of life and teachings of the Lord, Krishnanji"s Guruvayoorappan, Ramachandranji"s translation, Geetamrutam by you and Andal etc. Sri Krishna is the embodiment of Truth, Love, Compassion and all those qualities of Head and Heart that give meaning to life in this world of ours including the highest state of human spirit. As Gitacharya, Lord tells Partha and through him, the whole humanity, that Man is really a spiritual entity on an earthly mission and not a mere perishable physical body with attributes of mind and intellect.

We all know right from Veda Vyasa, there is a great line of saints, poets, writers and philosophers, singers, dancers, flutists - all Bhagavathottamas, whether it was Sur Das, Bhakta Meera, Jayadeva Kavi, Chaitanya Maha Prabhu in the North and Azhwars in the South like Andal, and in modern times Bharati, Melpathur, Poonthanam, Kurooramma, Ezhuthaccan (father of Malayalam language), just to mention a few - all sang and wrote in praise of the Lord both in Sanskrit and other Indian languages which happened to be their mother tongues enriching the great Indian literature.

Apart from Krishna, contemporary issues have also been dealt with in this New Year Issue like Chennai floods bringing together people of different religions together as in days of Sanatana Dharma and the wrath of humanity against the Islamic State.

It is elevating and illuminating giving the impression that any day Pen is mightier than the Sword!

The 34th issue of the Amritha Varshini is an absolute delight to go through. I think you have truly found your life's calling. Also, you have joined the group of illustrious elders contributing to Amritha Varshini by coming out with Amritha Geetham. Hearty Congratulations for this noteworthy contribution. Maybe you shoukd name it as Amrithanandageetham.

All the very Best for many many more such issues, there are many souls eagerly waiting to relish the Amritham it offers and get drenched (varshini) Anandam (spiritual).
